For the most part this tumblelog isn't a beacon of erudition however occasionally I post serious entries about healthcare and the image of nursing.

I have a surprising number of fashion and chaps related posts.

I have always been interested in masculinity and increasingly, as a clinician, in men's health. Since 2012 gender issues feature prominently.

I intend to study midwifery and become a midwife practising in rural and remote areas.
